Following this post is the first chapter of my own vampire epic story =D Enjoy...It has no title yet, but will probably be called surreal. Here is the...Prologue...Enjoy =D
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Surreal: The Beginning
The dark velvet sky was spotless, without a single diamond adding to its surreal beauty. The quiet nighttime stood still, suffocating with silence as not a single blade of grass swayed in the still air.
Chills fill the air with great cheer
Shiver not my will
The lonely dark time was cheered by the presence of a pair of fireflies. The dancing couple twisted and twirled, like a duo of living shooting stars, their fiery trail fading behind them.
Where will I rest my being
On this soft grass patch
A soft sigh broke the quiet peace of the night, even as the humming of the fireflies went unnoticed. A solitary man lay beneath a tree, gazing at the cold, empty, night sky.
A chill in my bones
“I need to find better company den a bunch of flies with their butts on fire” complained the man, as he contemplated his latest verse, “Or I may never regain my talent.”
Sighing once more, the man sat up and reached up for a stretch. Folding the paper in his lap, he packed away his sparse writing materials and meager belongings. Checking his things over, the man stood and made ready to leave.
“Where will you lead me tonight sweet thing?” asks the man, look at the sky, “Or is Master Thief Illian on his own tonight?” Expectedly, the night sky did not reply, but seemed to instead, glower at him for being so impertinent.
Sighing seemed to be a habit for with this man, as he did it again, carefully picking up his bundle and strapping it on firmly to his back. Looking up to sky once more, as if pleading the moon goddess to appear and guide him in the dark of the night, the man shook his head, resigned to his fate and trudged on into the endless gloom.

Some Haiku
Red moon rising
A chill in my bones
Bad omens
Evening time peace
Where will I rest my being
On this soft grass patch
On this ill solstice
Chills fill the air with great cheer
Shiver not my will
